2020 has been a year that is going to be in history books; fires blazing from California to Canada, a fight against cops everywhere for Black Lives Matter, a global pandemic, and election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden for POTUS, amongst other events. Instead of making it about the people, I decided to create a zine and make it about the land. I highlighted some specific creatures that have been affected by the conditions of this year, by the wildfire and pandemic, both positively and negatively. Humans are always talking about the effects of things and complaining about how these effects impact them but what we never want to talk about is the cause… and in this case, it’s us.
